Iron Container, a leading manufacturer of waste equipment located in Miami, Florida would like to welcome John Martorana as an equity partner, board member and Executive Vice President of Sales. Mr. Martorana has nearly four decades of experience in the steel and waste equipment industries. Mr. Martorana worked with Dietrich Industries in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for 12 years before joining his family’s waste equipment manufacturing business, Industrial Refuse Sales in 1984. Industrial Refuse Sales was acquired by Wastequip Manufacturing Company in 1991, and in 1994 Mr. Martorana was named President of Wastequip’s Southeast group. In 1995, his portfolio was expanded to include the duties of Vice President of Purchasing for Wastequip. During Mr. Martorana’s tenure, Wastequip grew to over 30 manufacturing facilities with annual revenues growing from 8 million to over 40 million dollars.
