WINAMAC, IN - Link Environmental, a second generation waste and recycling industry leader, was acquired by Municipal Equipment, Inc. (MEI) on January 1, 2024. This strategic move marks a significant in step to strengthen and reinforce both business’ ongoing commitment to providing top quality refuse equipment and superior customer support. The acquisition, confirmed January 1, 2024, combines Link Environmental’s experience and expertise with MEI’s multi-state presence and brand strength  to establish a powerful partner for businesses in the territories they serve.

Link Environmental will remain in its current Winamac location. Don Link will continue to serve as General Manager, with John Wheeler as Parts Manager, Angie Thompson as Office Manager, and industry icon Mary Sue Link.

Now in our second generation, we provide quality environmental equipment for the waste and recycling industries, maintaining complete service, installation and replacement parts departments at our Winamac, Indiana facility.
